Beginning to Project Plan
Readers with extensive to-be-read lists and bloggers with copious ideas for posts is absolutely nothing new. But when these two realms merge, it becomes difficult to keep everything in order. So that’s why I recently purchased a project planner. While on a book hunt at my local Barnes and Noble I came across this handy dandy, not so little planner in the newly curated planning section lining the wall with all of the journals and stationery. Since this thing was only $30, and I was running low on options ton how to stay organized, I thought why not. It was the price of any higher end planner except it had all of the requirements I was looking for: I can write my own dates, and it has several different templates that can accommodate different projects and plans for the year, months, weeks, days, and per project as needed. The paper is also not super light weight and thin unlike most planners on the market, meaning that my black ballpoint pens and highlighters will not be bleeding through [as much]. Considering this was designed by stationery pros, Pocketo, I am not shocked that every little detail regarding this planner has been considered. With over 160 pages, it is designed to last a full year, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t be scanning these spreads before I taint them with my writing, just in case I need an extra project sheet or two before the year runs out. Being slightly larger than A4 at 11.9”x8.4”, this planner allows for a lot space to accommodate plans for all of my projects. I’ll be predominantly using this for managing Bibliografik’s blog, shop, social media, along with my own personal freelancing. I’ll have a full review posted in a few weeks with my review and thoughts of it.
If you would like to purchase your own project planner, you can pick up a copy from Poketo’s website in four different colors, midnight, red, clay, and marine, or from Barnes & Noble website, or at your local B&N brick and mortar store. If the A4 format is too big for you, you can purchase a smaller sized, concept planner, that offers only a few of the templates that this planner has.
